Fractured and/or broken teeth that need to be restored with crowns can be done without metal. With all porcelain crowns no metal is used, preventing the appearance of a gray line at the gum. The crowns are adhesively bonded to your tooth for increased strength and durability. They are natural and lifelike in their appearance.
All-porcelain crowns (also called caps) are a beautiful, long-lasting choice. The procedure involves reducing and carefully shaping the supporting tooth, creating an impression from which a model of the prepared teeth are made, and having the crown fabricated in our cosmetic dental lab, then fitting and permanently cementing or bonding the crown in place.
